IF it’s local though sometimes you can get in a good hour to 90 minutes of ski time before everybody gets out of the rental center….

The crowd doesn’t show up until 10-10:30ish. I have been skiing daily from 9-10:30 and that’s enough for me until the mountain opens up!

The ridge is closed. Only lift 1 and 2 access to the front. It was deep powder everywhere!!!!!

Trust me that thought has been on my mind all day, but I been out of town last 4 weekends, I need to stay home couple weekends get my wife buttered up before I make my next ski trip. Hope to make several more trips out there this season.

That place looks really nice, but l like rolling skibum style, cooking my steak on my portable grill at legendary Kachina Lodge…




Breakfast too at Kachina…cold in the morning, gotta crack the door for ventilation tho. Skibums take notes..

This ski trip was operation fat ski, never had any fat skis, got these today. Head out Sunday morning. Loves these skis, much easier to turn in the bumps vs my GS skies I been skiing on..



Hope they open Kachina, it’s looking good, bumps look like they are filled in with powder and more expected tonight…
