So I do agree with @TahoeCharlie regarding conditions. I had a few lift conversations with random people and we talked about where's all the snow? Not that there weren't some nice pockets of good stuff to be found, I felt overall the conditions weren't the best. The high winds didn't help, and then the warmer temps hurt as well. Seemed that a bunch of trails were scraped down to really hard pack more than I would have thought.

Now I didn't get to Mt Rose, and maybe they had better overall conditions, but both Palisade resorts were on the crusty side Thursday and Friday.

But Terese and I both had a blast and can't wait to get back out there and explore more.

Don’t agree. . Enjoyed the gathering.
I found conditions rather good. But on gathering days except Fri (hello power failure) I did not start till 10 or 10:30 when groomers soften up. Classic spring skiing.
North facing slopes (Our Father D6,7 8 Headwall face at OV) stayed good with soft pack all week. Granted some runs especially Sunspot that face into the sun that the Fri guide took Most people down 2nd run ( before power failure I did RH twice & waited for 9:30 2nd meetup at top of RH) stayed frozen all day from winds & lack of Sun. Bad idea.

I’d bet the north facing “Chutes” at my Rose were excellent on Fri. Opened a day late and a dollar short.

We skied them and yes, the more they were skied in. the better they got.

Had a great time skiing a few funs with y'all last week! And thanks for indulging in my photo-taking ways, always fun to shoot some skiing.
Pared the pics down to the in focus and well timed ones, 1700 pics go fast. I hope I managed to catch everyone, I didn't get enough ski time in with the group to recognize all the jackets in the heat of the moment!

I think @Philpug got best air! And thanks for directing traffic too.

That's what I was thinking- I look like I might know how to ski (well at least get down the hill)

I think the new crowd is more distinctive. The old crowd dresses too much alike.
