It is with extreme sadness I have to share that Sandy our family member of 15 years has lost her battle with cancer. We did as much as we could till the meds did not work any longer.

My Wife and I just lost one our family members today. Godo. He was an amazing companion. I Loved sharing my pillow with him during the past few years. We will miss him dearly.

My sympathy, @Ken_R, to you and your wife. A rough week for the dog people here.

On the flip side ... a former co-worker picked up a new pup this weekend, a mini labradoodle. He has been wanting a dog for 2 years, but his wife wasn't ready. His 8 y/o daughter cried when he brought the puppy in.

Tears of sadness. Tears of joy. These pets sure touch our emotional chords.

Oh, @Ken_R - He had such a noble face! How very sad. My thoughts are with you. My own little guy is nearing 17 (a Chihuahua, so they do live longer), and our day is coming.
