For 2025, they suggest Finals at Soldeu (Andorra), last held mid-March in 2019 and 2023. In future years, they recommend pushing World Champs into March, to free up more dates for Euro race in February.

I wonder how they will handle later North American Races, like Palisades and Aspen this year?

Racing should not start till December and likely go to April (particularly in North America where the best snow is often in the March-April time frame)

March maybe... but unless you're talking Lake Louise, or similar northern places, snow can be getting warm/slushy by early April sometimes at places like Aspen and Beaver Creek and Palisades.

Based on this suggestion, there wouldn't be "later NA races". Just one block in beginning. Which on one side is fine if looking fully focused on one single thing (presenting yourself as super eco friendly thing), but in reality it doesn't matter at all. Most of people on speed tour are on speed tour and most of tech guys are tech guys. So speed tour flying to USA has nothing to do with tech tour flying to USA, so doing it all at once or in two stops it really doesn't improve anything, except in views of public who doesn't know a thing about it and this way they would say "oh how cool is FIS they reduced travel by half" even if in reality they might have reduced travel to half for let's say 10 or 15 people, while for other few 100 nothing would change. Another thing with this USA flying is what I'm telling for ages when it comes to this. FIS and teams don't fly charter jets. They fly with regular lines. Exactly those lines, that they would be flying anyway if there would be any skier on board or none. So it's not like they did whole bunch of eco damage if they add few guys to plane that would fly this line no matter what.
For EU stuff, I actually agree that this would actually reduce environmental footprint, as the way they are now, when they travel from all the way of south/west of Europe to all the way to north/east, then back in 3 days and after 5 days again in total different direction is stupid.

Hirscher comeback from retirement in 2019:
- age 35
- racing under Holland, his mother's homeland
- ÖSV unanimously approved the change of associations
- he will not bump starting place of any Austrian athlete
- Van Deer brand is also is not part of ÖSV ski pool
- he'll race in New Zealand this summer to gain FIS points (currently 850th place)
- goal is to return for one season for home World Champs in Saalbach-Hinterglemm

There’s Fis Grass Skiing June 6,7 in Sweden.

The finals? Aus/NZ cup are late, end of Aug, early Sept. Looks like the Super g has already been cancelled. Course ptoblems?

There are last years, no? Results available.

Seems there's a draft calendar for this year here. Looks like there's some FIS races on the Wanaka side (Cardrona Resort) early August as well as Coronet Peak later the same month.

Yes, you’re right. So the finals are late though.

Got this in Cadrona, Aug 5-8, 2024

This is the FIS alpine calendar for NZL in 2024:

The ANC series in Coronet Peak is the series Hirscher (and other world-class skiers) is likely to be targeting--highest caliber field, lowest penalties. That said, wouldn't be that surprised if you saw some seriously good skiers in the August Cardrona series. The mid-Aug series at Coronet is more likely to be well-attended, IMO.
