Hi all -
I have a 10 year old foam liner from my local boot shop that's treated me very very well.
I've been having a hard time finding a replacement and have finally decided to go the Surefoot route. I know people have issues with the shell sizing, upsizing, etc. In my case, I am considering getting an R liner and using my existing shell and footbed, which I was told was not a problem when I made an appointment.
What I am wondering is how the foam process has changed, if at all? What is the "memory foam" and is it different from a traditional foam liner, or just a marketing thing?
Also, the complaints I've seen about Surefoot have all been about shell sizing, sales pitches, etc. Anyway have any issues with the quality of the actual liner?
Thanks!
