I just watched Msp’s Drop Everything while back east packing up the house. This is a great piece of ski porn. Well done MSP. A return to ski movies that feature Squaw, Revelstoke telluride and other resorts we, the mere mortals can ski.(just not as well) lots of favorite skiers with some new ones that are leading the way with new styles and tricks. And, a couple of rippin chicks. What I loved was there wasn’t one urban segment and I don’t think there was any Alaska segments. A lot of really good pillow lines and some obligatory powder scenes. A bit of a throw back to the earlier “ski movies” (remember those with Shane and Seth?) and funny scene with a drug to make you more bold which parodies pharmaceutical tv ads and shows athlete crashes. I def’ enjoyed this film. Cinematography was really good and the film was sharp, colors accurate. Sound track featured a lot of 70’s rock which went well with the movie.

Thanks @Ron
Shot in 6K and returning to their roots sounds sound and looks like an awesome rebirth for MSP.
IMO, they lost their way with the last few films.

A ski buddy has collected all of their films but swore he was done after last years release. I will have to urge him to pick this one up..... so I can borrow it.

Now I just need a 6K screen !

@Catskill carver unfortunately, it wasn’t released in 4K. When I get back to Steamboat I will see how it looks played on my Oppo 4K player which does an amazing job at upscaling on the LG 65” Oled. I know you would appreciate that. I wish they would at least master in Dolby but PCM 2.0 matrixed sounds pretty decent.

@Ron - Oppo rules the Hi Def world and yes I can appreciate it !
Not to derail here but I'm really anxious to have the module installed into my NAD masters to 4K and BluOS sound.
