Celebrating the old and the new ...

The wreath is new. The elf is in its late 50s. The elf came on a package of dishwashing liquid, maybe Palmolive, back when I was a child.



The snowman is old. It was a latch hook kit I did somewhere around 1980.



His scarf was crumpling, so I made him a new one. But that didn't match the band on his top hat, so I started putting a new band on. Then decided the hat needed a little work. Then decided the hat was too small. So I free-handed a whole new hat. This is my 2023 entry in "Anything Worth Doing is Worth Overdoing". Yeah, laugh. If you've seen the Project thread, you know I have some stuff competition in that category!
