Information on free skiing is hard to find.
Getting started:
Mt Ashland OR 70
Dodge Ridge CA 75
Mammoth, Palisades 80
Alta, Schweitzer 80

It's also kind of perishable because resorts keep changing/raising the age or are very low key about publicizing it.

Monarch, CO - 69 and up is free
Massanutten, Va - 70 and up is free
Bryce Resort, Va - is quietly free 70 and up, but they don't publicize it much.
(The first two I took advantage of this season.)

Resorts are obviously aware there are significant numbers of still fit, slow aging, and active hard core skiers that began skiing from mid 1970s to 1980s. And some of them are such strong skiers and obviously financially capable that they have caused free thresholds to be raised. I have skied 2 free fresh snow days so far at Dodge Ridge this 2024 winter.
