I think it's time to give a little love to our 4-wheel off-road friends. I've have a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 500, a 2017 Kawasaki Teryx (that I'm trying to sell), and now a 2021 Honda Talon 1000R. The Teryx was supposed to vacate the premises before the Talon arrived but it didn't work out that way. I saw a screaming deal on the Talon, as long as it was as good as it looked in the photos. I took a quick trip to Richfield, UT from Reno and it was as good as it looked. I brought it home a bit over a week ago. @AKMINK and I took it out with some friends in their Talon today. Fun, but muddy! It took longer to get it cleaned up than it did to ride. We're looking forward to getting out more in this than the Teryx. The Teryx is a goat; it'll go pretty much wherever you point it but it wasn't as "plush" as my passenger wanted. The Talon has a significantly better ride.

We finally got to hit the trail with the Talon. We had three other couples in the group, all with Talons. These machines are amazing! The suspension just soaks up the big hits (and there were many) while the dual clutch transmission just does its thing either auto or paddle shifting. We were in the Nightingale range east of Pyramid Lake.

Doing some exploring over Memorial Day Weekend in the Toiyabe range. So much water and a lot of snow still.
