July in Mammoth - summer daze!

We're planning on a drive through Tioga pass to Yosemite also. We figure the water falls will be roaring and the scenery beautiful. We'll figure out what to do once we get there. Bob and I are RVing it. That's the nice thing about summer skiing!

I'm still considering going, but lodging is slim pickings. But looking at the pictures and video makes me want to ski! Plus, I just love the eastern Sierra and haven't been in a while.

Go! I can't recommend it highly enough... it is phenomenal up and down the Eastside right now. How many chances will we have to get it this good? So much fun, I'm going back for a third helping.

Saturday or Sunday after skiing but we are making our plans on the fly once we get there so I do not know. I can post it here once we decide.

@Philpug wevwould love to ski with you both if Saturday or Sunday works for you. I totally get it if it doesn't.

Looks like I'm going back sooner than anticipated, leaving again at noon today. Will be out open-close T-W-T this week, fishing in the evenings.

I could not get the video to show, but Ron at the gondy shack had told me about this the other day. Some dude crashed in D3 Wednesday and rolled into the rocks below. He was shaken and beaten up, but apparently alright. He is sitting in the rocks in this picture, the lowest of the four.
