Started in 1969, stopped in 1984, skied once circa 1992, started again in 2002 and still skiing. Total 31. Would have been 48 with out the break. I've been skiing in my head the entire 48.

I was just corrected on my recent birthday by my older brother. I began in earnest a year earlier that I realized, at two and a half. This will be season 61. Two thirds done.....I hope.
Started in 56 but there have been some breaks so will claim 46.
The really importand part for all of us is days skied per season. At least 16 of those years were 100+.

56 years of skiing behind me, but the body isn't keeping up. I am slowing down a little more each year because the legs and knees are weakening. Still, it beats not skiing.

It's easy to be a lifer when your parents start you as soon as you walk. Born in 64, started in '65, still skiing.

I'm still "new" comparatively speaking. 6 years, year 1 and 2 weren't very serious, and my technique improved dramatically around year 4, and now I'm addicted.
