Thanks Tricia. It's a nice helmet and the green color will definitely get you noticed. I would say it is hair brighter in person than on Smith's website

For those who are unfamiliar with the Quantum, its Smith's premier helmet which was supposed to launch in the coming season, but they did an early release because it was in demand.
Extremely lightweight, with magnetic closure, really nice venting, and MIPS.

I used the quantum this past year and found it to be the best helmet that I have used.

that's a pretty good price for a brand new quantum! I've been using mine late this season and it's a great helmet and pairs really well with I/O7, not so much with the I/O which is a tad small for this helmet. great helmet and great deal!

I found that it works really well with Oakley's Flight Deck as well

Thanks @Tricia and others for chiming in with how great the Quantum is. The big reason it didn't work for me is weight. I was mistakenly under the impression that it was lighter than their previous options and would make a good 50:50 helmet. That said it is a similar weight to my Smith Variance.
