Aren’t we supposed to be eating Poutine?
Raclette is Swiss. They seem to have an inexhaustible desire and ability to eat melted cheese.

Poutine is for lunch. Doesn’t begin with “c” so I won’t have it for lunch. although “curds” … maybe.

One day early this season we ordered poutine at the bar at Saddleback for après. IMAGINE THE HORROR when what they brought instead of fries with gravy and cheese curd were TATER TOTS with some kind of avant garde sous gravy and a sprinkling of what looked like cotija cheese from a taco.. I hasten to add that they have come back to their senses since.

Cheese curds with gravy and fries. Plenty of ‘c’’s in that.
