Grand total is looking like 36 ski areas, rather than give a bucket list because there are too many to list. I'll give the list that I'm hoping to add this season since I'm moving to Denver in 3 weeks from Chicago!

2017/2018 new resorts I plan on visiting: Snowbasin, Wolf Creek, Loveland, Winter Park, Ajax & Telluride.

Places I've been over my career:

Michigan

Alpine Valley
Crystal Mountain
Mt. Holly
Pine Knob
Boyne Mountain
Boyne Highlands
Nubs Nob
Schuss Mountain
Mt. Brighton

Wisconsin
Wilmot
Alpine Valley

BC
Whistler Blackcomb

Alberta
Mt. Norquay
Sunshine Village
Lake Louise

California
Heavenly Valley
Squaw Valley

Utah
Powder Mountain
Snowbird
Alta
Solitude
Brighton

New Mexico
Taos

Wyoming
Grand Targhee
Jackson Hole

Colorado
Vail
Beaver Creek
Keystone
Breckenridge
Arapahoe Basin
Snowmass
Aspen Highlands
Steamboat
Copper

Washington
Crystal Mountain

Ontario
Blue Mountain

I had a fairly comprehensive list on Epic, it's up to about 85, most of the usual suspects. Major places I've NOT been to in NA are Big Sky, Telluride, Sun Valley, Whitefish, Bretton Woods (last notable in the East), Banff area, and interior BC. Skied five places in Europe. Would like to get back there a few more times before it's all said and done.

This thread reminds me of a line from Wilt Chamberlain, "it's more satisfying to be with one lady a thousand times, than with a thousand ladies once".

Wow, some pretty impressive lists from people, I like this thread! Because I love skiing and reminiscing about skiing (and procrastinating from work)..... here's my list! Hopefully some pretty obscure ones on it...... (no backcountry areas have been included on this list)

Australia
- Mt. Hotham
- Falls Creek
- Perisher Blue

Austria
- Hintertux
- St.Anton
- Stubai

Chile
- Nevados de Chillan

China
- Aletai Snowpark Cat Skiing
- The General's Mountain
- Silk Road Ski Area

England (plastic ski slopes)
- Llandudno
- Rossendale

France
- Risoul
- Vars

India
- Gulmarg

Italy
- Pila
- Courmayeur

Japan (all Hokkaido)
- Niseko
- Moiwa
- Rusutsu
- Tengu
- Asari
- Kokusai
- Kiroro
- Mt. Racey
- Furano
- Kamui
- Sahoro
- Tomamu
- Asahidake

Scotland
- Cairngorms
- Lecht
- Aonoch Mor
- Loch Rannoch (dry ski slope, where I first learned to ski 32 years ago)

Switzerland
- Grindelwald
- Murren
- Wengen

USA
CA
- Alpine Meadows
- Squaw Valley

CO
- A-Basin
- Loveland
- Copper
- Keystone
- Vail
- Aspen
- Crested Butte
- Telluride
- Silverton
- Steamboat (nearly forgot that one)

VT
- Killington
- Pico
- Sugarbush
- Okemo

I think that's about it...... I'll definitely keep adding to the list. Where to start...... well, most of my skiing is done for work now, so it'll be more about destinations for future trips. So, in no particular order - Georgia (multi-resort tour), New Zealand, Greece, Spain (Baquiera Beret), Slovenia (Vogel), Iran (I really hope the political climate calms down as I know they have some amazing stuff!), Iceland, Russia (Rhosa Khutor and then onto the Siberian Express to explore resorts in that area) and then all the way out to Kamchatka, Bulgaria, Macedonia, a bunch of the Istans (former Soviet Republics), Mongolia, China (far east side for cat skiing in Changbaishan), Hakuba area of Japan and all the different places on the main island (plus some more places in Hokkaido that I haven't hit yet), Manali (India), tons of resorts in Chile and Argentina. There's several in the US and Canada that I haven't done yet (Jackson, Alta, Snowbird, Whistler, Castle Mtn, Aleyska) but I don't have the time most likely and must continue the exploration overseas. Heli in AK would is on my bucket list if I had the time and money (I would make the time for that!). Skiing and exploring is in my blood so I will tick off as many of these destinations as possible!

Pretty much all of them up there.
Nearly all of them there and the state next to there.
Lots of them in the 3 states in between, and a few more in the country above them.
A handful in the midwest
None back East and no Europe. Really need to fix that.

I am a lot more interested in the next one than the past one.
