Two thumbs up for the Lagavulin 16-YO! Smoothest Islay Scotch I've tasted, and a peaty whisky just fits with a cold winter day.

I'm putting this on my to try list. This will be in the flask this season. I don't need any help skiing badly, but a sip or two on a cold day works wonders. Cask strength loosens the old joints...
Hello, Francois. I'll remember your canoe trip tip - sounds like advice from first-person experience!I'm putting this on my to try list.
Not about skiing per se, but be careful with that cask strength stuff! Even if it's only a wee bit more alcohol, it can sneak up on you, as I discovered with Laphoaig Quarter Cask - do not refill your mickey flask from the bottle you were saving for tomorrow's canoe trip when it runs out .
Are you a Redbreast fan, tch? It is a Jameson brand, isn't it? I'm just learning to appreciate Irish whiskey - usually prefer single-malt Scotch - after my first visit to Ireland a few months ago, so I'd welcome other recommendations.Ooooo.... Redbreast!
I like it in small doses. If I had a flask I'd put Ardbeg 10 in it. I love it, no one else even likes it a little. More for me. Huge smoke, peat, tar, and iodine.
That's a lot of Christmas Spirit!I thought we had a thread about what is a good size for a flask but I couldn't find it, so I will just put this here.

It is about a half of a gallon FYI.
NOT peppermint schnapps. I'll only make that mistake once...
