Warner Nickerson is one of a kind. Followed him when he was blogging during rehabbing after serious injuries put his ski racing on hold. Would be great if his enthusiasm, race knowledge, and energy could be grafted onto/into the US ski team organization

WCN is unique. He is still the athlete rep to the USST board, BTW. And a Swedish resident.

Bode has made the comment that Bode is one of two guys who the USST could have really developed, and who could have done something special but basically just chose not to. The other....Dykster. Often referred to by Bode as the best US GS skier to never wear a USST uniform.

Warner's first close but no cigar waits the USST was when he was .04 seconds off the podium in SL at US Nationals. He'd have been on with a third. That criteria changed before the next year!

Very unique. Some of his chairlift ride videos for Dodge Boots are entertaining.

At some point I hope/think that he might do something a bit more "serious", but no rush!!!

Great guy.
