Gang,

Thinking about picking up a pair of V-Werks. However, my concern is with the lack of sidewalls in the areas extending beyond "underfoot". It appears there is no sidewall at all. If that's the case, how does one trim back the sidewall for edge tuning? Does the V-Werk design impair your ability to properly tune it like a regular sidewall, which hasn't been cut back? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Shouldn't impair. If there isn't anything for the file to hit, besides the metal edge, will have no problem with tune. If there is impairment then a 7 degree bevel with an panzer file will work too.

Not all skis get sidewalls cut back. :)
