With Father's Day just around the corner, I keep seeing like and adsense ads pop up with unique ideas for dad.
This site caught my eye, and just happens to be named Uncommon, but there are other uncommon ideas that may come up that would be cool to share here.

Since these are drink related and my dad doesn't drink, these aren't good FD gift ideas for him, but they are pretty cool gift ideas, in general.
For instance here are two that caught my eye.

My husband and I have given a number of friends/family Rock Booze Dispensers for wedding gifts over the past few years...the company used to be from NH, I believe they recently moved to the next town over in Maine.

For most occasions, I give food as gifts...because...well, everybody eats. And as long as it's delicious, it's hard to go wrong. A few favorites...

A local truffle maker in Portland, ME: ::hint hint:: Boozy Truffles!

Pistachios of many flavors...cause my Dad LOVES pistachios (especially the garlic ones):

And Stonewall Kitchen is kind of a staple in my home (and the homes of those that receive gifts from us):

Hey. Are you local?

Dean's Sweets are really good. +1 on the boozy truffles.

I'm closer to Stonewall Kitchen than Dean's Sweets.

I'm in Portsmouth, but work north of Portland, so know the I-95 corridor better than I'd like to admit...I guess it depends on how close you consider local. You in the Portland area?

There's always the unique flask route. Is dad outdoorsy? I got one of these sets a few years ago and use it all. the. time:

A little searching and you can find some pretty cool flasks.

If he's into brown liquor, some Glencairn crystal is a nice touch:

What is the difference between the flask in this image (the adventure flask) and this one, which is called the classic?

I just picked up a new set of four coasters and they are skiing relayed. I could have put this in the Brag about a good deal thread because the set of four was only $4.00 plus tax.

They are ceramic with cork backing.
