Electric motors are known for torque, hence the good 0 to 62 mph time.
BTW 220 Kw is 295 Horse power, so the 60 to 120 time should be good too.

Not that it really fits here, but Labor Day weekend Gwen and I saw a beautifully restored V12 E -Type roadster motor past us as we stood at a stop sign (on a bike ride). We heard it too. An electric conversion would be nice, but the sound of either the overhead twin cam 6 or V12 would still be missed. Summer of 1960? in Aspen two E-Types/ XKEs, both new to the states show up at the same time. Anderl Molterer had the first and then Stein Ericksen showed up with his. Two of'em in a town that small at that time was truly amazing.
