Day 4 at Cannon.
Ducking some ropes into still thin glades and out to Paulie's Folly. The coverage they can get with their new snowmaking guns is amazing. Less than a week ago they only had 5 runs open on the lower mountain. Now it's nice top to bottom skiing.

Day One! Half a dozen runs at Wachusett. I feel like I forgot everything.

Day 1 today @ Schweitzer. 16 degrees and 5" last night will help. All of the bourbon I had while tuning skis last night will not! :)

Will gently test out the old body and dinged up knee. Should be fun.

No days yet. But will finally make it out tomorrow to the fabulous Big Boulder to ski Tannenbaum over and over and over....

Looking forward to trying out the new Kastles. I know, I should probably stick with the skis I know, but I can't help myself.

I think day 4, Okemo. Barely broke 20° today, clear and kind of windy. Demoed a few skis at the tents at Solitude base, but only hit one on my list -- Rossi Hero Elite ST, which I liked, though maybe not as much as the Blossom. Tried the RTM 86, which edges impressively and was as quiet and damp a high speed ride as a person could wish -- that UVO thing, maybe. Skied a run on the Monster 83, but the 88s were at Sunapee and Stowe today. It's a decent ski, grips well. My Head experience is minimal. Couldn't coordinate a Super Shape, which I'd hoped to do, or any of the narrower Heads (it was a hard snow ski kind of morning). Nor were there any Enforcer 93s when I was available. Ça va.

Day 5 at Cannon. Can't get over the new snowmaking they have, and how fast they can cover the mountain. Paulie's and Rocket had some nice soft bumps that were ripping all morning.

Day 4 at mount snow. Very decent conditions today. Nice firm snow with some loose snow here and there. Took out my redsters and something clicked today. I felt my boots really communicating with my skis. I was switching from edge to edge, felt my boot engaging and I even had a little speed. Summit was beautiful and canyon chair was running so lots of laps on canyon. Magical day.
