46. I still need two more.

I leave you with this from my son today. The zoom in facial expression of a completely wrong line and then recovery says it all.

It would blow your mind
Saturday made 72, and I'm spent.
According to Ski Tracks I was 3 days, 34mi and 19,616 vertical feet shy of last year.

4 bike rides so far; 45 to go to beat last year. New front wheel for the mountain bike arrives Wednesday.
Bakerville bike path was still snow covered for the last mile approaching Loveland Basin. Estimate maybe a week before my first pass ride of the season.

101 after last weekend, more than I thought a month ago.

Didn't want it to stop.

Going through withdrawal.

In a while transition to 13ers, but still suffering.

(Maybe will visit Hand Hotel in Fairplay for withdrawal therapy.) :)

Oh, well. Only about four more months til opening day.

Well, I finished at 47, one shy of the 48 days (lift served) I have skied each of the past 3 seasons by total coincidence. Or me being really boring and having a super predictable life. I did leave home to ski 48 times, but made the mistake of stopping for coffee and got caught behind an I-70 closure on a super icy Nov day and turned back after waiting right by the gate for 2.5 hours.

A super fun A-Basin closing day with two of my sons. The other half of my crew decided to sleep in instead. We skied bell to bell.

First chair...(for us)

Which set up with a funky berm that caused havoc all day. Although this fail defies explanation...

Another rare sighting of me completing a first ever Reveal crossing. The run in was clean all day so speed was no issue...

Unless you scrubbed it...

The Lenawee mountain goats were with us all day, about 20 of them watching and waiting for all of us fools to finally leave...

On to the passes and patches...:beercheer:

Regular. Absolutely love the M5 for how light and quick it is, and how centered you are over the suspension despite a -7cm(ish) mount - the cost is in lack of dampness.

That's all suggestive of the FT version being a solid 50/50 inbounds/touring ski candidate if one likes really quick skis.
