Hikers having lunch overlooking Coleman Glacier on Mt. Baker. Heliotrope Ridge trail.
Wow! They said "unseasonably cool", but 9 degrees F from freezing! If it would have rain (I'm at 6700') there would have been snow 9700' (using the old Army standard temperature lapse rate of 3 deg per 1000').
You can also see the regional area. Where I am (Oakley) it shows 45. So I'm sure some ares (like Parley's Pass) like Summit Park may have seen freezing this morning.
This was a total stoke for me!

I must apologize, I misnamed this mountain, it is actually Mt. Morgan (North). McGee lies just north out of view in that pic. Shame on me.

I am rather proud of this picture, not for quality but for content. I have spent since April working to get this to happen (and some future sisters in the area). The bit will start turning in a couple of days. It will pay for a lot of my skiing!

Where are you ? Would guess Kootenay Lake in BC but it could almost be anywhere.
