The degree of feeling better will vary from dog to dog (same as for people, I suppose). Getting his blood glucose down even a little will help him feel better, but he will feel his best when his blood glucose gets down to the normal range and his diabetes is well regulated. Precise regulation can take a few weeks to attain, so patience and persistence is key here. Obviously, I'd like to see a steady improvement. But you know all this.
Thanks Dr Bob,
I'm spending the day with Dr Kris tomorrow. We'll have more info then.

I had a check up today.
They took blood to check my pancreas (and probably other things too) Mostly we think that my pancreas is doing better.

Tricia and Phil got some answers about why I was begging for extra snacks between meals.

Turns out, my glucose is more balanced and actually getting low enough that I need snacks. I like snacks!

Test results will be in Friday.
