Word of this website only got to me recently. I recognize some names from Epic Ski (my old home).
My ski home is currently Revelstoke. I dropped out of ski teaching at Taos to devote more time to my own personal growth in the sport. There was too much I did not know about many ski areas of the West. I am beginning to lift my heel ... not the full Telemark gig (which I admire), but skins and WTR. My new home offers a lot of opportunity to explore.
I will occasionally offer instructional input, but I will most often be in search of little tech gems of wisdom. I come at skiing from a racing background. I still love to ski fast arcs with my 191's. I look for opportunities to run slalom. I can hang out for a half day at Nastar. But bumps, woods, chutes and pooder are all good too.
Isn't this a great sport.
