So, I used to work in a movie theater for a guy like that. Always some prophecy and a host of reasons why the world would end on a certain date, and when the date passed, he'd already moved on to a different one and questions about why the last one didn't happen were just left hanging in the air. He spent one entire summer assuring us that the end was coming on September 9th, but still made me clean out the ice machine on September 8th.
