Had the right skis

Made it out today. There hasn't been any new snow all week and it's been warm and windy. I was expecting hard and crusty conditions. when I got up there a lot of the snow had disappeared. It was hard and crusty so my narrow skis worked well. Despite generally poor snow, it was a beautiful day,

Nice views all around

Lots of bare spots but managed to get around. Surprised how quickly the snow went away.

Stopped for lunch at one of the Forest Service cabins

This is Michigan Ditch Trail at Cameron pass in CO. This trail is pretty flat but makes for a nice outing.
