Frankly I'm stunned after this hot dry summer that he found a single bit of snow anywhere.

Yeah. I believe so, Tahoe based.

Where my respect lies with @Stev is that he is not out there for the consecutive month number and getting one day a month, just to pad his stats, he is out there 3-4 times a week in the summer months.

Thanks for all the kind words.
I am currently at 169 consecutive months.
I have done most of my skiing locally (Tahoe/Eastern Sierra Nevada.) It is more about having fun skiing than strictly following rules though. Back in October of 2008 I headed up to Mt. Hood and skied a couple of days at Timberline to keep the streak alive. However, I am open to skiing in many other places too (and I have.) Glacier National Park in Montana, mentioned by Craig Moore in the article above, is on my to-do list.
