I always liked this line from Geoff Stump in the "How to Thrill" video:

Most skiers don't measure their thrills in steepness or deepness, but rather in the sweetness of their turns...

Word.

Refresh. And I can't believe this quote isn't anywhere to be found on this site!!! (Not that it doesn't exist on the site, but a search didn't find it...)

"And then Plake insisted on skiing a line that even Schmidt thought was a bad idea..." (And yes, @Dave Petersen, we most likely do have many of the same movies...)

Speaking of movies (uh oh, thread drift!), has anybody ever seen the Stump movie "Droids"?

Her: "Skiing powder is like the best feeling in the world!"

Him: "What a shame that you don't know that skiing powder is the 2nd best feeling in the world."

I am going from memory so the following is more of a paraphrase than a direct quote but there is a sign at Lake Louise that says it is more cost effective to take lessons from a ski instructor than to teach your spouse how to ski yourself AND pay for a divorce lawyer.
