Yes, Gus is much too large. He is my daughter's cat and she is working valiantly to get him slimmed down.

I would be more disturbed if your horse starting climbing into boxes.

Well, he lived in a BOX stall. :D

New kitty is currently passed out on the floor, right next to a perfectly good Blue Apron box. He has no concept of the contest to be higher than everyone else.

Funny, ours doesn't either. I thought she was kind of a freak.
I had one that liked to climb into paper grocery bags. One day I heard a ruckus, looked up, to see an open paper bag from my local grocery store "running" down the hallway. When it ran into the wall at the end of a hall, a cat magically appeared and bag never moved (on its own) again.

Can't tell you how many times I've come home to find the audio cabinet doors wide open with them listening to Year Of The Cat.
