Which car buying site offers the best selection of used cars?
I kind of like cars.com, but I would like some suggestions.

In my area/experience, CarGuru.com was the most effective/useful.

As a former salesman, I was very scepital of all of theres. I will say I was pleasantly surprised with Truecar. I will say, check other area, I found significant differences in prices all over the country...not hundreds but thousands of dollars.

I really liked using cargurus recently. Not sure if it was necessarily the best as far as selection, but there were plenty to choose from. It really shined with the pricing info and helping to locate a good deal.

ultimately if you generate a lead using any of the apps, that means a fee from the Dealer to pay to the app.

So if you really want to cut out the middle man, once you've identified the car you're interested in, you would originate the inquiry directly from the dealer's website and that puts a $100 to $200 back onto the negotiation table if it gets down to it.
