No snowblowers here. It snowed once this year and we watched it from the front window. It melted and that was that. We have a snow shovel someplace. I've used it twice in this house, and I've lived here for 11 years. We keep the snow in the mountains. (Snow pack reported today: 153" at the base, 200" on top)

I usually drive on it, which makes it not blowable or shovelable, and then it turns to ice and I have to wait for a warm spell to lever up big sheets.

This was good for snowball fight forts when the kids were little. Now it’s mostly just good for not getting UPS packages delivered.

Who else leaves their snowblower in the garage and shovels by hand so thy can make a big snow pile? We just had 3 or 4 inches of the driest snow!

^^^ I shovel most of the time. I only break out snow blower when it is too deep...(which isn’t often)

I enjoy shoveling, as I do mowing lawn.......who knows?.....things I have never minded doing.

Yesterday's morning snow was "blower". It kept blowing in my face no mater which way I turned the chute ;-)

Today?, Ahh not so much. The chute packed with the wet mank, and shoveling was heavy and no fun at all.

Local Midwest ski area near my home is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The snow this past week has been so dry I had to get out. Hiked up and skied the neighborhood. Pretty flat and slow but I squeezed in a few powder 8 runs.

Another good line near my son’s middle school - about 2 blocks long. I use my old skis just ‘cause you don’t know what is lurking beneath that thin layer of snow.

I need someone to drive me around.

I did the "one boot driving dance" this weekend as well. Our resort bunkhouse was across the parking lot from the lifts.. With the rain, getting a good parking spot was pretty easy so driving 500 yards to take a break then back to the base lifts happened, rinse and repeat as needed... in the rain .. get it?

As for shoveling and piles. I'll make one big pile on one side instead of two medium piles, one in each side too. I remember being a kid in Minnesota in spring when the big pile center of the cul-de-sac down the street was all that remained of the snow. We made bobsleds from erector sets and raced them down a track we carved out of that mountain of snow.
