Pictures of the Orange ones please! :)

(1974-5? earlier? )

What model? Looks like orange was very popular in the mid 70s!

I did not think there was ever any relation between Tomic and Atomic. I have seen Tomic skis. Do you know anything further?

I was wondering the same thing, but then I looked at the logo on the tip. What do you think???

Maybe I need to start a "Tomic" thread?? I will need to do some research. It almost looks like it says "ATOMIC" on the skis. Also "Atomic" is used in the body copy.

It definitely says Atomic on the skis in the ad.

I saved this picture from an ad online.

Puzzling!

I'm wondering if the ad is wrong. Atomic was founded in 1955.

I'll have to see if there is an ad with Tomic skis and Atomic copy.

There is a TOMIC ski pole ad on the next page -- I bet the graphic artist was confused and thought it should be one company. I will need to see if there is a correction in the Feb 1967 issue.

I proudly blew out a sidewall on those blue ones on (a rock on) Paradise at MRG.

Would you take a look at these beauties?

These were a 'donation' from a friend that knows what I like. They have a tiny groove which suggests to me they are very early SG skis. Interestingly the bindings only go to 10.

@Doug Briggs they need the green E/S/S bindings.

I have a green ESS VAR 614 on a pair of Elan MBX, but the ones already on the Atomics are pristine and certainly original to the ski. Green or Purple. Do I need a survey for this one? :)

No survey needed, there isn't any purple on the skis. A non discussion.

I wonder how many kids have learned on these skis. I am guessing they are 30 to 35 years old.
