OK... which resorts will still be open in early April that the eclipse passes over? Where's the 2024 Eclipse Gathering thread that this roll-call goes with?

So I'll repeat my 2017 post (wow... 6 years ago...)

Looks like Jay Peak and Whiteface are options?
Sugarbush and Stowe too.

We plan on skiing Sugarbush for the event as coverage is better there than Killington.

I’ve made an Airbnb reservation for Stowe on Sunday night. I was looking the other day and virtually everything in northern Vermont was booked.

There was a Motel 6 in Burlington with availability at $500 / night. Price gouges at work!

Cochrane’s!

Oh, April 8th, maybe not.
What time is this shindig going down in Northern VT?

Good thought - guess this thread has been here lying dormant for a while. I was planning to visit friends in Austin. I also just noticed there's an annular eclipse this fall out west (Oct 14th IIRC).

But this post has ne thinking Alyeska to ski & hopefully get some Aurora sightings. Auroras tend to be stronger near the equinoxes, so another spring option...
