X2 Spruce was really good today once the sun started to hit it at about 11am, Gondola was slightly soft but not nearly as good as spruce, quad wasnt great except for upper sunrise.

The greens and blues of sunny spruce where you wanted be.

The best ski buddy in the whole world.

Corn snow is the sweetest carving stuff in existence.

So it took getting to PSIA development to get you to post a picture of yourself smiling? :golfclap:

Spring skiing today! Exquisite soft bumps!
And only one week ago it was some of the finest winter snow conditions

The two bumpy sections of exhibition were great. Then I found the other seeded course with kickers further down exhibition. Took me a while to figure the cadence and more likely for the snow to soften up..... well worth playing hooky.

So most of today at Stowe was Meh....lots of hard snow, and really big chunk granular withsome decent spring skiing mid day on spruce, and lower Gondola. But the we got a new 3 inches of really well bonded wet snow. Might get another 2-3 before the upslope event stops but low angle woods and bumps should be less than awful tomorrow, and early groomers should be way better than today. Crowds tomorrow will be insane. Good luck.

“Less then awful”. That’s a ringing endorsement @Josh Matta .

The Berkshires are forecast to get 3-7” Saturday night. Might have to take a swing out there on Sunday. Normally I skip Presidents Weekend.

Hmm.... lake effect from the temperature gradient. Or it could be Champy puking it to the east.

Taught all morning so didn't get out at Bromley until this afternoon where it was a sheet of ice. I don't mind as the Rallys do ok on ice but looking forward to what tomorrow brings.

Another Tramblant question...

How much parking is available on the north base? Today's crowd on the gondi was maddening. Am contemplating avoiding that by starting on the north side. But not if there's only limited parking and fills up first thing.

Crotched got 5 while Wildcat got 3 (assume Attitash got the same as Wildcat). Interesting that the Peak Resort areas are not on the list.

Nice place Tremblant but the crowds, oh the crowds. No thanks.

Skied Berkshire East this morning. They received 3-4" overnight, so the initial surface was great, although there was blue ice lurking underneath. As the new snow got pushed off it became pretty challenging skiing.

Crowded by Berkshire East standards. The wind was howling straight up the trails; on the way down there were times that you basically came to a stop. It appears that the wind was interfering somewhat with lift operations as well as the lift kept stopping.
