I used to have a list. I wonder if I can reconstruct it without help....

MA (3): Bradford, Wachusett, Nashoba Valley
NH (7): Cannon (w/Mittersill), Loon, Waterville Valley, Crotched, Sunapee, Bretton Woods, Ragged
ME (4): Saddleback, Mt. Abrams, Sugarloaf, Sunday River
VT (9): Killington, Stowe, Smugglers Notch, Mad River Glen, Jay, Sugarbush, Middlebury Snowbowl, Magic, Okemo
MI (1): (or maybe OH) - one day, no idea where
NY (2) : Greek Peak, Song
CO (7): Wolf Creek, Crested Butte, Breckenridge, Copper, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, Aspen
WY (2): Jackson, Grand Targhee
UT (8): Solitude, Brighton, Snowbird, Alta, Snowbasin, Deer Valley, Park City, Powder
CA (6): Mammoth, Squaw, Alpine Valley, NorthStar, Heavenly, Kirkwood
NM (1): Taos
Canada (2): Whistler/Blackcomb, Tremblant

Total = 52

Where else do I want to go? Big Sky, Bridger, Mt. Rose, maybe Europe, maybe interior BC (does it have better visibility than coastal?), helicopter, repeats at several of the places listed.

I'm too lazy and disorganized to compile the list of places I've already been. Besides, what's the fun in that anyway? ogwink (you know, been there, done that..)

My bucket list are mostly overseas. All the NA mountain I REALLY wanted to hit, I've managed to hit them. The last one being Whistler, nailed it during the gathering. That said, there's a long list of mountains I'd love to go back at least once, if not more often.

So my short bucket list:

Europe: Zermatt, La Grave, Verbier, Paradise Ski,

Japan: Asahi-dake

S. America: (several but can't remember their spellings)

But really, I'm less interested in going to new places than re-visiting places I like from previous visits (or the ones I could "see" the potential but was unlucky with condition of my previous visit). That's why my "bucket" list is short. I'd do other mountains not on the list. But those above I REALLY do want to go to!

I live in Queensland Australia so it's a long trip to anywhere with snow for us.
Been to Coronet Peak, Remarkables, Mt Hutt and Treble Cone in New Zealand. Thredbo, Perisher, Blue Cow, Guthiger in Oz. Whistler, Blackcomb (are they one), Sun Peaks, Lake Louise, Sunshine in Canada. Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, Sun Valley, Mammoth, Northstar, Aspen, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk in the US.
This winter I'll check off Snowbasin, Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee and either Telluride or Squaw/Alpine.
My bucket list includes Apex, Red, Whitewater, Fernie, Silver Star and Kicking Horse (planned for 2018/19) and St Anton, Ishigl, Dolomites and Cervinia/Zermatt (planned for 19/20).

I guess I'm relieved that only two people have Whitefish on their bucket list. Means the crowds will continue to stay low. :(:yahoo:

:) I've already been there. Back in the 80s I had some AK firefighter friends that wintered there. The first day I was going skiing with them I asked "Is today going to be a goggles day?" (as opposed to sunglasses). My friend gave me a look and said "Every day is a goggles day at Big Mountain."

And that day was - some of the worst whiteout vertigo I've ever had. The snow and terrain were great but it was so foggy I kept blowing up as I slammed into invisible bumps or dropping into unseeable voids.

WOW ! Some impressive lists. So I will just state my Bucket List which is ski till I am in my late 80's. Losing the desire to travel a lot just skiing local and pretty content with terrain I know and good powder. Have skied in
South America in August and Australia too. Now hoping to just keep enjoying our sport as long as I can.
