Sorry to hear, but glad he passed at home, instead of being frightened at the vet's. Losing a great dog will never stop hurting, but maybe that's good. Wish I could say something to assuage that hurt, but I remember all too vividly losing my guy, and that was 27 years ago.

Short hike with the doggers today. Loki is convinced that 65 degrees is a heat wave. Poor guy should live in a colder climate. Full body immersion whenever he gets the chance.
