L6+, has a MCP, worth driving over from the Carson City area?

I'm going with a hard no on that.

Why wouldn't you go ANYWHERE closer? i.e. kirkwood (which sucks for intermediates like squaw...but what the hell). Or more likely Heavenly, Sierra, Diamond Peak, or Northstar....all SIGNIFICANTLY closer and more enjoyable for an intermediate IMHO.

It's an hour drive without traffic. @Alexzn suffered that much from Truckee today. It took that long to get around LA tonight. Long drive yes, impossible, no.

Squaw has so many options that good snow can be found - especially in spring conditions chasing the sun. Good for any skier.

We like taking intermediates to Alpine. There's lots of fun terrain.

I haven't driven from Carson City to Heavenly but it looks close. I have never skied Incline but it's close.

Wherever he (she) goes, he (she) should be able to have fun.

I don't think squaw has a lot to offer intermediate skiers. Gold coast, Shirley, maybe red dog.
