Seems like RM did some good stuff for charities in his later years. It's all just for fun, but I generally preferred the darker portrayals.

Favorite Bonds:

6. George Lazenby

5. Roger Moore

4. Pierce Brosnan

3. Timothy Dalton

2. Daniel Craig

1. Sean Connery

Even though he played Bond in more movies than any other Bond (7), I will always remember him as

1. (tie) Daniel Craig & Sean Connery

What I like about the top four, all were great Bonds for their era especially Pierce and Roger. Roger was so 70's and 80's..even more so than when the brought Sean back and Pierce was very 90's and 00's.

Personally I rate Roger Moore as my least favorite Bond with Dalton a close second worst.

There is only ONE Bond and that's Connery.
Lazenby would be my second choice, wish he had done more than just one.

As a young teenager, I kind of hated Roger Moore, because he got all the girls, and I got none.

He had class. RIP.

Sean Connery was the first Bond so deserves a special place. But Roger Moore built the Bond mystique. Live and Let Die was the best Bond movie (boats jumping levees!!!). Octopussy had the best intro of any movie ever (a jet knife edge through closing doors!!!). Roger Moore had the perfect blend of cool and over the top to truly define Bond.

1 Roger Moore
2 Sean Connery
3 Pierce Brosnan
4 Timothy Dalton
5 George Lazenby
6 Daniel Craig (Bond is becoming too dark)
7 Woody Allen
