That's really bad news. Cerebral injuries can be devastating no matter how he recovers. :(

Wow. when I saw the thread title , I thought it must have been a crash on the track. Too many people are getting hit by cars while out riding their bikes

RIP. What a great, great racer and human being.

Nicky had so damn much FUN racing a bike, and loved the whole circus, especially the fans. Always smiling, and actually dancing on the podium when he clinched the championship a few years back.

He will be missed by so many.

In the afterlife, I'm pretty sure the tires never go away late in the race....
