Skied the skis with the "universal" wax today for the first time since applying it. Worked well. It was mostly a powder day, but the runouts weren't an issue at all. Green probably would've been better. Rocks on the other hand...
I think I'll go with the "warm" 2000 I have on my Head SLs for the Utah trip, do I need to clean the bases first or just crayon-on and towel wax on top of the wax that's already there (Holmenkoll Red IIRC)?
I waxed my Head iSL RD skis with the pink race wax (28F+) last night and noticed during the "crayoning" part of the process that the wax seemed to get powdery. It ironed in OK though, I can't wait to see how it does in just over a week.
