The last Swedish Hill MF I had was around 2001 - I remember it as better than the bottle I had above.

My belief is founded on a bottle I had by a QC producer around the same time - but it was restaurant-supply only.

But, seriously, try diluting it with club soda as a summer drink.
Thanks, I will have to give that a try. It is better than other options. My wife wanted to pour it down the drain, but I would not let that happen.

I goof around a lot here, but put your pencils down now, children, and pay attention. This is a drop-dead gorgeous wine that shows why famous terroir is famous. The fact that it only costs fifteen dollars makes it worth a special search. Lives in the shadow of its big brother, the Morgon Côte de Py, but this thing will make you swoon.

That's a great way of getting amazing wines on the cheap. Second wines from really good producers. Tasting thoughts, please? Pretty please?

Short answer: Where you are, I have no idea.

Alcohol distribution laws and practices in this country are absurdly arcane and variable from state to state. If you live in a state where buying wine online is legal - I don't - you can Google it, I guess.

Here in New England it's imported by Ideal Wines and Spirits of Medford, Mass. And distributed by ... whichever local middleman has the Ideal portfolio at the moment. On the west coast Burgaud may have a different importer ... or none.
