I REALLY tried to go with "anything but black" on my last ski pant purchase. But try and find large/short/full side zip pants............it ain't easy! Black Spyders at 40% off made the decision for me. I'll never be in style but I'll never be out of style either........................

Free skiing: Red pants for cold, green for the rest. Grey for rain.

Work: yellow to sup or mng, all previous years, black.

The teley years: blue or black.

Never had black pants as a youth.
What is this rain thing you mention?

Not to knock black pants I do have 3 pairs of black ski pants for teaching. Thick pants for cold days, mid range ones for in between and wind pants for those warm days

wow what an exclusionary thread. I love my black ski gear.

Marginalization is the new black. Celebrate your victimhood! :philgoat: ogsmile

(see? the guy who crashed isn't in black.... and I hope everyone knows I'm joking. )

Black is by far the best color for snow clothing because it is the best at absorbing sunlight thus keeping you warm which is the purpose of snow clothing. /thread

The girl in the store actually tried to talk me out of those pants.

Yellow.

Pants 4 inches too long but goretex. On the way down the color of pants doesn't matter. Good for the way up though against...white.

Again, you were oblivious...she wanted you OUT of the pants....I bet you wondered why she gave you her phone number too. "Why would she want me to call her, we just met..." :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

I don't have a choice but black. The good news is that the price is right and they magically get washed and waterproofed once a month on my day off!
