No worries about my situation - I'll get that sorted. My post was more about the impact of the storm to the infrastructure @ JH and village

^they should have a fix/work around by then - I, however, had to bail - couldn't guarantee power for hotel and in fact were suggesting that guests leave the village, although not an evacuation order. The notice says for "up to 7 days". Really bummed as this would have been 10 straight years and a great one at that. couldn't fully load trams yesterday and clear the snow at upper station. Maybe March.

Hope everyone one stays safe, mountain workers and linesman esp. and checks on folks

^ Obviously not my video- that's a bunch of work to get done. Assume power lines had extra weight from frozen rain or rime or something

All those lines down!!
From the news story - Teton Village remains without power after 17 75-foot-tall steel transmission towers toppled Tuesday night.

I was at JH the day the slide took out the restaurant. Impressive event, and almost as impressive a recovery from it.

My favorite mountain. What a drag for everyone affected by this. Best wishes.

The silver lining is that the transmission towers apparently didn't fall onto any vehicles.

That would seem to be an engineering failure, glad it's only an economic impact.

Powers back and now getting things back up and running for Monday .. maybe limited runs but pretty impressive given 17 towers were downed.

Power companies have pretty impressive back up and repair plans in place, makes sense too that from the resort perspective, they do similar every yr with opening.
