I am looking for a water bottle that has a protective cap over the drinking valve. I would prefer ti to be about 24-26oz. it will go on the underframe water bottle mount.

anyone see one?

nothing like taking a big swig of water only to have crunchy shit... and that could be literally.... in your mouth.

Guess it's a good thing that I can't fit a water bottle on my mountain bike frame.

I'm sure you'll feel much better putting the valve to your mouth knowing that that little cap was just buried in that crunchy shit. Hydration pack?

for quick "out behind the house" rides, Where i roll out my driveway to our trails, i can get by with 20 oz podium bottle for a 1.5-2 hour ride. no need for pack. longer rides i would take a waist pack (Camelbak Flashflo)
