This is very good news for Fischer. It will be great to see Mike here in Tahoe representing a brand that has a long and storied history. We see Fishers two ways here in Tahoe, either in the gates or on the backcountry, the race end is well established and the backcountry is where we are seeing much growth and Mike will continue that.

Sounds like this is backcountry products only? Mike is an absolute legend. This sounds like it could be a great fit. 25 years with K2 in a bunch of roles is a long time. This sounds much better than the most recent gig.
Best of luck!

Actually he will also be the territory manager for NV, CA an AZ too. He will still be based in Ketchum so I am sure he will have a strong Tech Rep here in the Tahoe basin where they still have a strong race presence.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Fischer is going to do next. They're making some strides, for sure.

Hopefully they're figuring out what they want to do... it was becoming the mysterious disappearing brand around here.
