i recently picked up a killer hardtail from Scott and it has dI2 I would like to run the battery in the seatpost but I am not finding any droppers that will accomodate the battery. If anyone knows of any please let me know. I am emailing KS to see if they plan on making any.

physically impossible....

your going to have to run that battery outside of the frame or not run a dropper.

Yeah, I was just hoping for an internal option. The bike came spec'd for seatpost mount so it would be good to not have to buy a new battery but once to go dropper, it's hard to go back.

Maybe Specialized's SWAT Box isn't such a bad idea after all.

basically because no bike should ever impeded how you are able to move on it.

Can you jam it up into the steerer? Or you could run dropper with external routing like the original Reverb.

no, there's a specific clamp and seat post that has to be used. the dropper itself can be routed internally though

I've seen builds where the wires come up through the top cap. If you use PRO handlebars too, some of the wires can stay inside the stem and go right into the bars which have little holes next to the shifter or junction box. Super Clean. Also, I have no idea why this is in italics.

I need to do some research. The bike is a cdale fsi black inc.

That's a killer bike. I've been thinking about grabbing one of the leftovers for myself, but I''m not sure I want to ride skinny tires anymore. Haven't owned a mtb with tires less than 3" in a few years.

I put .2.25's on it. But this will be a blast on our xc climbs fire and forrestry roads. As u know the deal was too good to pass. Rhe cdale steerer is a 1.5 but im not sure if ita tapered. Do you kbow?

It's not tapered, but there is plenty of room for a battery. Might need to do something custom, but it shouldn't be too hard.

You might have room for a Magura Veyron dropper on top of a Di2 battery.

Might.
