I am so happy for him. He is a true pioneer for mankind, having been one of the first two humans to walk on the moon.

I am also happy to see this since he had a hard time adjusting to life on earth after Apollo 11.

My parents used to live kinda near him in Vero Beach so I've met them two or three times. In all honesty, I kinda felt like she's using him. He's a weird dude and seems like he's not 100% right anymore. Cool guy obviously, but weird for sure. He's probably happy with it though, so that's good.

Buzz Aldrin went to the same high school as me...although a few years apart LOL.

I remember after the moon landing, there was a parade for him in town.

Buzz was my dad's room mate at West Point. Dad used to bring me Apollo photos and swag from their class reunions. Lost most of it when mom threw out our momentos and photo albums after I moved out.. Dementia sucks..

I think it's what he called his brother when he was real little, or his brother called him. Not too different from a young kid who pronounces brother as bubba.
