I went with a friend for a day trip up to a place we call April Bowl out of Onion Valley in the Eastside Sierra in... April. It's an easy skin and enjoyable descent, a perfect warm-up for more difficulties later in the week. As we moved up we noticed another group ascending the couloir across the valley, you may be able see them in the second pic, just below the choke.
At some point the chute below the choke slid, we heard and saw nothing, and they had to ski debris in the runout. We had already finished our descent and were chillin' at the road when I shot this video of them coming out. Never talked to them or knew who it was. Fun day.
