'49/'50 Fords just don't look right in stock trim. I'm used to seeing them with chopped tops and flamed paint jobs. They seem more natural that way. :ogcool:

Are you sure you don't mean the 49-50 Mercury chopped and channeled, bubble fender skirts with a continental kit in the back, lake pipes on the side.

There is a twin of that Volvo 122 wagon being auctioned right now on Bring a Trailer. Full restoration, with a neat story. I learned to drive in one. By the time it left out family, and went to my cousin's commune {remember those?} it had 300K miles on it. Original clutch. Burned no oil. I think he {they} drove it for a long time afterwards.

Get very nostalgic when I see one. But, no, we don't need this one. On Bainbridge Island in Washington.
