1st car I owned, High School in Colorado Springs. Heater, Barely. Defroster, a scraper inside. Don't remember ever getting it stuck in the snow, and it saw a lot of it. All of thefun factor I could afford.

My '73 Chevelle was terrific on slick roads, even with the torqued up motor, as long as I had studded tires and the snow depth was less than the ground clearance. If the snow depth was ground clearance plus one inch, I had a beached whale on my hands. So then I bought the Jimmy and drove it for skiing and off-roading and used the Chevelle the rest of the time.It is funny that in the 60s and 70s a car made a good ski vehicle if it had a hatchback, had front wheel drive, or you could attach a ski rack to it. What about ground clearance so you don't get bogged down in the snow??
I've got skis that look almost that fast.View attachment 16404
